Nice building, we loved spotlessly clean and beautiful rooms. Having hairdryers and towels was a bonus. Besides, the location was comfortable and easy for our stay, within 20 minutes' walk of Vernon College.

Nothing could have been better.

My room included air conditioner and a chair. It was very close to Vernon, TX, and Texas, easy location overall.

Green Bird Inn was great with a beautifully updated room, with a cozy king-sized bed that provided a perfect night's rest. The staff were cute.

The outside had visible tornado damage, concerning. Plus, parking was somewhat limited near the entrance.

The roof still shows tornado damage!!! Hot water inconsistency is not acceptable!!! Cigarette burn on bed sheets shouldn't happen!!! Unsafe electrical outlets for hair dryers need urgent attention!!!

The King Room was pretty comfy! The bed was nice, and the sheets felt good. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the room too. AC worked like a charm during the heat. There were a few restaurants close by, great for dinner. Just wish there was a little less noise from outside sometimes.

It was just a solid selection for a weekend in Vernon with great value. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room comfortable. Request a room away from the highway to avoid noise from passing cars.

Staying here was a pleasant surprise with a comfy bed and super fast WiFi that helped me unwind. I loved having the grassy area for my furry friend and the quiet atmosphere was perfect for relaxation.
